This repository contains an "upport" of Debian's Jessie nagios3 package for Stretch with minor fixes:
It's aimed to be a drop-in replacement for official nagios3 packages that have been removed from Debian Stretch. Debian recommends moving to another monitoring tool:
The nagios3 monitoring tools have been removed from stretch. The icinga package is the closest replacement. It reads its configuration files from a different path than nagios did, but is otherwise compatible.
If you don't want to do this and stick to Nagios, here's what to do before upgrading:
